Monday, January 9, 2011 – A Day

LUNCH MENU: Today’s menu options are Pizza, Deli Sandwiches and Salads. Check the menu board for more options.

ATTENTION 7TH GRADERS: Do you want to go back to your old elementary school to talk to 6th graders about your experience at Petaluma Jr. High School? Ms. Horwitz and Mr. Podbereski are planning to visit our feeder schools towards the middle of January and need student volunteers to join them. If you are interested in going, fill out a form in the counseling office and you might get selected!

ATTENTION 8TH GRADERS: If you plan to attend Casa Grande High School for 9th grade next year, please see Mr. Podbereski in the Counseling Office to pick up important information.

TUTORING: Don’t forget there is after school tutoring today in the Library from 2:34 – 4:00.

CHARACTER TRAIT: Perseverance continues as our character trait. Perseverance is continuing to work towards a goal. The books “Perseverance” describes the role African-Americans have played in the making of the American republic. In the book “Fever, 1793” a girl learns about perseverance and self reliance when she is forced to cope with the horrors of the yellow fever epidemic in Philadelphia in the year 1793.
