BIRTHDAYS:  Today we would like to wish a Happy Birthday AGAIN to Natalie Angel, Russell Davis, Violet Deardorff, Siennah Martinez, Rori McDaniel, Patricia Morris and Lydia William as their birthdays are actually today, not yesterday.

Also, early birthday wishes go out to Audrey Borloz who will be celebrating her birthday over the weekend.  Happy birthday to all!

REMINDER:  Today is picture make-ups in the Multi from 7:30-1pm. Please have your picture taken if:

1.        You did not like the pictures your family purchased, bring those pictures and have your picture re-taken.

2.       You were not dress code appropriate when your picture was taken during orientation, you will receive a pass to get your picture taken during SSR on Friday

3.       You did not have a picture taken at all, you will hear your name during these announcements requesting for you to come to the multi to get your picture taken.

LIBRARY NEWS:  Banned Books Week started September 23rd. What does it mean to ban a book? It means to remove the book from a library. Our library is not removing any books; we are putting them on display. The most requests to ban books are from adults worried about books for children and teenagers. Why do adults want books removed? Usually because they involve sex, bad language, or characters adults don't like. Most complaints are unsuccessful and books like Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Scary Stories, Goosebumps, Twilight, and Captain Underpants are available for you to check out.

LEADERSHIP:  Today is the last day to buy 2 items and get a duck free.

COOKBOOK SALE FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING:  This is the last day to purchase your recipe and crafts book, Special Occasions, from any Independent Living student. The books are only $10.00, and make great gifts.
