LEADERSHIP NEWS:  It's Spirit Week! The "HUGE" Sale in Student Store starts today!

 

SPIRIT WEEK:  Tomorrow is – Hero Day, Thursday – Sports Day and Friday – Twin Day.  Looking forward to seeing all the school spirit, just remember, dress code requirements are still in effect.  Spirit activities are happening in the Courtyard starting at 12:15.

PICTURE MAKE-UP DAY:  TODAY, from 7:30-1pm in the Multi, Lifetouch will be taking make-up pictures for those students who were either, 1) not here for orientation, 2) not satisfied with their photos, 3) did not get an I.D. or 4)  were not dress code appropriate for your picture on orientation day.  If the last one applies, you will take a new picture for the yearbook, but you may keep your purchased picture packet. If you already received your photos and are retaking them, please bring in your complete photo package with you.  Picture order forms are available in the office for the students who haven't taken their photo at all.

GIRLS BASKETBALL: This afternoon your 7th & 8th grade Girls' Basketball will go on the road and play Lawrence Jones Middle School in Rohnert Park.  Good luck!  Teachers, please dismiss the 7th grade team at 2:25 today.

 

CROSS COUNTRY: Also, this afternoon your Cross Country team will be racing out of town against Calistoga, Healdsburg, Kenilworth and Robert Lewis Stevenson schools.  Good luck, team!  Teachers, please dismiss the Cross Country team at 1:30pm.

AUTHOR VISIT:  Today at 9:15, author Megan Shull will visit PJHS to talk about her book, the Swap. Hilarious yet surprisingly moving at the same time, The Swap gives us an insider's view at the differences (and similarities) between the lives of boys and girls.

 

The classes of Ms. Gavre, Mrs. Rocca and Mr. Griffin are coming. If you would like to attend and your class is not coming, you will need a pass from your fourth period teacher to attend a forty-five minute presentation that starts at 9:15. Copies of the Swap are available in the library.

You can come to the library to see our display of books that people have complained about. Most complaints are unsuccessful and books like Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Scary Stories, Goosebumps, Twilight, and Captain Underpants are available for you to check out.
