Birthdays:
Attention 7th graders: Do you want to go back to your old elementary school to talk to 6th graders about your experience at Petaluma Jr. High School? Ms. Horwitz and Ms. Leigh are planning to visit our feeder schools towards the middle of January and need student volunteers to join them. If you are interested in going, fill out a form in the counseling office and you might get selected!
Leadership: Leadership is doing their annual canned food drive, through Dec. 17. Parents and students can drop their cans at the front of the school, where a leadership student will happily take it and put it into the donation project. Remember the cans you bring in go directly to our PJHS families.
Sophie and The Enchanted Toyshop: Marin Dance Theatre presents a holiday ballet for the entire family at the Marine Veteran's Memorial Auditorium in San Rafael. For more information visit www.mdt.org or call (415) 499-6800. Fliers are in the office

Library: Library Veteran's Day Display. Everyone knows we honor veterans, but do you know why? The library has a display of books that show you why serving your country, especially in wartime, is such hard and dangerous work.
Basketball Camps: Would you like to learn how to play basketball? Do you already know how, but want to brush up on your skills? National Academy of Athletics is hosting basketball camps that are coming up for fall and winter. If you are interested in attending one of these camps there are fliers available in the office.
Winter Athletics: Would you like to play winter basketball or Volleyball? Boys and girls Clubs is hosting a basketball clinic for grades 3rd through 8th. The leagues run from January 11th through March 12th, 2016. If you have younger siblings there is a volleyball clinic for children grades Kindergarten through 2nd, Sessions start on January 11th, 2016 and run for 6 weeks. Fliers are in the office.
