PJHS MURAL:  If you are working on the PJHS mural, there will be meetings tomorrow and Thursday at lunch from 12:15-12:45pm and also after school from 3-4:00pm.

 

SPORTS AT PHS:  All 8th graders interested in Fall sports at PHS, there will be an informational meeting Thursday at lunch in the gym. Cheerleading, cross country, football, volleyball, girls tennis, boys and girls soccer and girls golf. Come learn more about PHS Athletics.

COMPUTER LAB:  Reminder the computer lab will be open at lunch today, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays for History Projects, other school assignments, homework and school email.  If you want Mr. Ferriola to help with you your email password or login you need to bring your planner or PE Notebook.

PAINTING THE PJHS MURAL:  If you like to paint or would like to participate in creating a mural as part of a Senior project for PJHS.  Meet today after school from 3:00-4:00pm in the courtyard.

 

EXPANDING YOUR HORIZONS:  Expanding Your Horizons is a day long hands-on workshop for girls in 7th & 8th grade to learn about science, math, technology & business. It is from 8:30-2pm on Saturday, April 5th. Details are in the office.

 

SUMMER PROGRAMS THROUGH SONOMA STATE:  Each summer Sonoma State University offers classes to students entering grades 4 through 9. This year the classes are: Jr. Biotech, Fashion Design, Candy Chemistry, Splash Zone Illustration, Myth Busting Science, Fantasy Baseball, Min"d" Craft: 2-D and 3-D Art, Songwriter's Blitz and Changing the World with Social Media . Returning favorites include: Kids in the Kitchen, Industrial Scrap Magic and Stop Motion Animation. More details in the office.

HALLS ARE OFF LIMITS: A reminder that students are not to be in the halls at break. This also means the G-wing, G-wing courtyard, F-wing and all other hall areas.  Please go down to the courtyard or multi during break.  Thank you.

 

FASTTMATH:  FasttMath will meet today in the Computer Lab.

ATTENTION 6TH-8TH GRADE GIRLS:  Interested in leadership through technology? Apply to be a part of Program Your Future, an opportunity to learn through hands-on activities that focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.  See the office for more details, but come soon—the deadline to apply is March 31, 2014.  The sessions are on Saturday starting at the end of April going through June.  There is also a week long summer camp. 

Something closer to home that is going on right now on campus is the Coding Club.  This club meets weekly and is always looking for more girl members and their ideas.  Details are in the office.
