"B" Day

LUNCH MENU:   The menu for today and Monday is:

CHARACTER TRAIT:  This week's character trait is happy.  Think about this… "The secret to happiness is not to do what makes you happy, it's to be happy doing what you're already doing." 

TEXTBOOK/LIBRARY BOOK TURN-IN

- Attention to students who still have textbooks and library books that still need to be turned in. You now need to turn them into the office ASAP. Please make sure your name, teacher and period are on the inside of the cover before you go to the office.  If you have not returned your books, you will get to talk with Ms. Emanuele.

PE MAKE-UPS:  This is the last day for PE makeups.

LUNCH MENU:   The menu for today and tomorrow is:

CHARACTER TRAIT:  This week's character trait is happy.  Some other words that mean happy are:  cheery, merry, joyful, jovial, jolly, jocular, gleeful, carefree, untroubled, and delighted.

GAME TESTERS WANTED:  Today, from 3-5:30pm in the multi, Mr. Bailey will be testing his game "Bailey Checkers" for the students who signed up.

SSA:  On Thursday at the start of lunch, there will be a short All Safe School Ambassadors' meeting in room S3.  Reminders will be sent. Recognitions, certificates and dessert will be provided.

GAME TESTERS WANTED:  Exciting news!!  Mr. Bailey is looking for game testers who would like to test a new board game.  If you are interested, please sign up with Mr. Bailey no later than after school on today.  We will be learning and testing "Bailey Checkers" this Thursday, from 3-5:30pm in the multi. Sign up today!

TEXTBOOK/LIBRARY BOOK TURN-IN

- You still have today to turn in your textbook to your teachers.  Students whose textbooks and library books have not been returned by the end of school will be called in to see Ms. Emanuele.   Also, yearbooks will not be delivered to students who have still have textbooks, overdue books or owe fines.  Please be sure your name, teacher and period are in the inside of the books.

NATIONAL ANTHEM AT PROMOTION:  Attention 8^th graders, if you are interested in singing the National Anthem at the Promotion Ceremony, start practicing.  The auditions will be on today at 12:30 in A-2, the Band Room.

LUNCH MENU:   The menu for today and Tuesday is:

CHARACTER TRAIT:  This week's character trait is perseverance.  There is a little less than two weeks left of school.  Let's all come together and help each other persevere through the remaining time left, soon we will be able to smell the summer breeze. 

ITEMS IN THE OFFICE:  There are items in the office that have been left by students who were coming in to pick them up and never did.  Please come in and claim your stuff or it will be thrown out, recycled or donated on this afternoon.

LIBRARY NEWS: 

- All library books were due this morning. 

- Teachers, please take the time now to have students check their backpacks for library

   books they need to return.  If you can, send a student to the library to turn them in.

-   You must bring in your own book for SSR starting today.
