“A” Day

LUNCH MENU:   The menu for today & tomorrow is:

MATH MEASURES:  Tomorrow at lunch, the Math Olympiad team will meet in G-3, Mrs. Behm’s room.  New members are always welcome!

CODING CLUB:  The Coding Club meets tomorrow in room H-4.  We are especially looking for girls to balance out the number of boys in the club for an opportunity to earn $1,000 for the club.  Bring a friend. Everyone is welcome.

LUNCHTIME REMINDERS:  For those students who go downstairs at lunch, please remember there is no food allowed in that area.  Also, you are to either sit respectfully and safely at the tables or participate in an activity on the blacktop.

CLUBS:  The Jesus Club meets today at lunch in I-4.

CHARACTER TRAIT:  Self-motivated is our character trait this week.

COMPUTER LAB:  The Computer Lab is open today at lunch.

LIBRARY:  The Library is missing their collection of 12 Naruto manga books. If you see someone with Naruto books other than #5, please let Ms. Andresen or your teacher know. There is a prize for their return. Thank you.

CHARACTER TRAIT:  Self-motivated is our character trait this week. Self-motivated people often get their homework done in advance of when it is due.

LIBRARY:  The Library is missing their collection of 12 Naruto manga books. One student has #5 checked out, but the rest are gone. If you have them and did not or forgot to check them out, please return them. If you see someone with Naruto books other than #5, please let Ms. Andresen or your teacher know. There is a prize for their return. Thank you.

TRACK TEAM NEWS: There will be a lunchtime meeting this Thursday at 12:30 in the gym for any students interested in track.  See Mr. Dee with any questions.

BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT:  Don’t forget to register for the Wayne Douglas Memorial 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament by February 15^th.  The registration forms are in the office and the tournament is on March 1^st.

WHAT’S UP WEDNESDAY: 

1.        Information for the Spring 2014 classes, at the Petaluma Arts Center, is in the office.

2.       Sonoma County Alliance (SCA) soccer tryouts will be on February 8^th & 9^th at St. Vincent’s High School.  Fliers are in the office.

COUNSELING CORNER:  Reminder for 8th Graders Attending CASA Grande next year: Come to the office at the beginning of lunch TODAY to meet with a CASA counselor.

BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT:  On March 1^st there will be the Wayne Douglas Memorial 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament to benefit the Douglas Family.  The registration form with more details is located in the office.  Please note the registration form for this great cause must be mailed in no later than February 15^th.
