The cafeteria also offers fruit, milk and chocolate milk and assorted snacks every day.

CHARACTER TRAIT:  Last week you heard a character trait mentioned in the bulletin.  All of the adults at PJHS encourage students to have good character.  We help you by describing character traits in our daily bulletin.  Having a good character means that you do what you believe to be right – even when that is hard for you.  People with good character make the world a better place.  This week's character trait is respectful.  Respect has several meanings and can be used as a noun or verb.  Besides being considerate, it can also mean to think well of someone.

WELCOME DANCE:  The 6^th and 7^th graders' Welcome Dance is this Friday in the Multi from 3-5pm.  Bring your boogie shoes!  Admission is free!!! See you there!

BIRTHDAYS:  Today, we would like to wish a Happy Birthday to Mary Fritzemeier, Sean Graham, Olivia Levy and Alexandra Schroth.  Enjoy your day!  Also, early birthday wishes go out to Ernesto Gonzalez, Nadia Petrovic, Anton Kramer and Alexa Martin who are celebrating their birthdays over the weekend. Happy Birthday to all!

LUNCH MENU:   The lunch menu for today and tomorrow is:

CHARACTER TRAITS:  Respectful is our character trait this week. In a big school like PJHS, you are in class with many people you don't know yet. That makes it even more important to respect others' feelings by behaving politely towards them.

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT:  This year's Back to School Night will be the Thursday, August 28^th from 6-8pm.  Please remind your parents.

LEADERSHIP NEWS:  If you have any suggestions for Leadership to make PJHS a better place to learn, please put your written suggestions in the "Red Better Box" located in the office.

LOST & FOUND:  The Lost & Found is located in the office.  Please check regularly even if you feel you haven't lost anything because sometimes you may not realize you have lost something until you find it in the Lost & Found.  Also, a reminder to label all your belongings, clothes, sweatshirts, backpacks, shoes, lunch boxes… anything of importance that if it was lost, you would like to have it back.

LIBRARY NEWS:  Today, the library will be open normal hours.

SCHOOL I.D. CARDS:  If you have not received your school ID card, please come to the office at break or lunch.

LOST— Spongebob has wandered out of Mr. Bailey's box in the workroom.  If found, please escort him back to the box.  You heard right, Mr. Bailey's Spongebob action figure is missing, please return him to the office. Thank you!

LIBRARY NEWS:  Today, Ms. Andresen will be in the computer lab in the morning and at break.  The library will be open at lunchtime. Starting Wednesday, the library will be open all day like normal. Sorry for the inconvenience.
