CHARACTER TRAIT:   Our character trait this week is generous. A second meaning of the word generous is more than normal. You may have had a generous serving of pie for Thanksgiving.

 

LOST & FOUND:  The Lost & Found will be donated at the end of the week to Alphabet Soup.  Reminder, the larger items are on display in the Multi and the smaller items are in the office.

 

LIBRARY:  On the minimum days this week, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the Library will be open until at least 2:30pm.

 

P.E. MAKE-UPS:  Remember there are no P.E. make-ups this Friday because of early dismissal.

 

VOLLEYBALL:  Tomorrow afternoon the volleyball teams will play Lawrence Jones Middle School here in our gym.  The 7^th grade game will start at 3:30pm, 8^th grade 4:30pm.  Hope to see you there!

 

BASKETBALL:  Also, tomorrow afternoon our basketball teams will play Lawrence Jones Middle School in Rohnert Park.   

 

WINTER SOCCER:  The Briceno Soccer Club is offering a winter developmental academy on Wednesdays & Fridays through February 28^th.  Flyers are in the office with more information.

 

SOFTBALL SIGNUPS:  The Petaluma Girls Softball Association is currently having online registration through December 31^st. Flyers are in the office with more information.

 

SCIENCE NEWS:  The Science Department is raising money so that the 7^th Graders can on a fieldtrip to the California Academy of Science in San Francisco. The fundraiser is on January 13th at Lagunitas.  Tickets are on sale now for $20 each.  Please drop off your ticket order & checks, made payable to PJHS-PTSA, to Mrs. Leach in the office.

 

STUMPED FOR GIFT IDEAS?  The PJHS Student Store is open today during lunch.  Come and see for yourself the many gift ideas they have to offer!

 

ATTENTION 7^TH GRADERS:  Do you want to go back to your old elementary school to talk to 6^th graders about your experience at Petaluma Jr. High School?  If you are interested in going, please fill out a form in the counseling office and you might get selected!   

 

HOLIDAY CANNED FOOD DRIVE:  This Friday is the last day of our Holiday Canned Food Drive. You can drop off any non-perishable goods before school.  Your donations directly help PJHS families.  Thank you for your generosity!
