"B" Day

CHARACTER TRAIT:   Our character trait this week is generous.  Please be generous as you can afford for our PJHS canned food drive.

 

PJHS PERFORMANCES:  Tomorrow night at 7:00pm, the 6^th grade Drama class will be performing - "Plain Jane and the Daring Defeat of the Despicable Duo".  Come on out! Should be a great time!

 

COMPUTER LAB:  The computer lab will be open at lunch Today (Tuesday) for school assignments, homework and using the School email system. If you would like Mr. Ferriola to help you with you email, you will need to bring your planner.

 

LOST & FOUND:  The Lost & Found will be donated at the end of the week to Alphabet Soup.

 

LIBRARY:  On the minimum days this week, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the Library will be open until at least 2:30pm. Also, there are 93 overdue library books, as well as 158 library fines. The winter break is the perfect time to find your missing books and figure out if you are going to pay your fines or work them off.

 

P.E. MAKE-UPS:  Remember there are no P.E. make-ups this Friday because of early dismissal.

 

VOLLEYBALL:  This afternoon the volleyball teams will play Lawrence Jones Middle School here in our gym.  The 7^th grade game will start at 3:30pm, 8^th grade 4:30pm.  Hope to see you there!

 

BASKETBALL:  Today the boys' basketball game at Lawrence Jones Middle School has been moved up to an earlier starting time so 6^th period teachers, please excuse the 7^th grade boys' basketball players at 2:10pm.

 

SCIENCE NEWS:  The Science Department is raising money so that the 7^th Graders can on a fieldtrip to the California Academy of Science in San Francisco. The fundraiser is on January 13th at Lagunitas.  Tickets are on sale now for $20 each.  Please drop off your ticket order & checks, made payable to PJHS-PTSA, to Mrs. Leach in the office.

 

ATTENTION 7^TH GRADERS:  Do you want to go back to your old elementary school to talk to 6^th graders about your experience at Petaluma Jr. High School?  If you are interested in going, please fill out a form in the counseling office and you might get selected!   

 

HOLIDAY CANNED FOOD DRIVE:  This Friday is the last day of our Holiday Canned Food Drive. You can drop off any non-perishable goods before school.  Your donations directly help PJHS families.  Thank you for your generosity!
