Student Store: Check out the student store this Friday! We just got a new shipment of all new products! These include new shirts with female cuts and many other things. Be there Friday!
Basketball & Volleyball Tryouts: Boys basketball and girls volleyball tryouts start today. 7th grade boys tryouts are from 3-4:30 pm. 8th grade boys tryouts are from 3:45-5:15 pm. Volleyball tryouts are from 5:15-6:45 pm. You must be cleared first in order to try out. See the PJHS Athletics website or Mr. Dee for more info.
Basketball Camps: Would you like to learn how to play basketball? Do you already know how, but want to brush up on your skills? National Academy of Athletics is hosting basketball camps that are coming up for fall and winter. If you are interested in attending one of these camps there are fliers available in the office.
Winter Athletics: Would you like to play winter basketball or Volleyball? Boys and girls Clubs is hosting a basketball clinic for grades 3rd through 8th. The leagues run from January 11th through March 12th, 2016. If you have younger siblings there is a volleyball clinic for children grades Kindergarten through 2nd, Sessions start on January 11th, 2016 and run for 6 weeks. Fliers are in the office.

Halloween: Halloween is on Saturday! Today at lunch, leadership will be hosting the traditional Halloween costume contest. Also, This afternoon from 4-6, we will be enjoying our FIRST FREIGHT FEST!! All PJHS students are welcome to attend.
Halloween costumes must be dress code appropriate. This means: nothing to do with any type of weapon. No masks worn during class time—but may be worn during contest. No super gory make up. No spaghetti straps or strapless tops dresses. No visible underwear. Leggings may not be worn as pants unless covered to inseam/finger rule. No see through garments.

Reminder for Bantam Fans: A quick reminder for any students attending our home basketball games.
· Fans are to stay in the bleachers during games. There are no continuous in and out privileges and remember that and are not allowed on the court at any time (this includes halftime and I between games)
· Fans are not to use any team equipment or enter any equipment room at any time
· No food or drink is ever allowed inside the gym
· Commends need to be positive and supportive of PJHS; comments directed towards the visiting teams or game officials are not allowed at any time.
In general the Bantam athletes appreciate the support but please remember that we need to be respectful hosts and demonstrate positive behavior and good sportsmanship at all times. Thank you!

Mix It Up Day: PJHS is celebrating our first "Mix-It Up Day" Today during lunch. We will be hosting a fun Mix It Up Day lunch activity that encourages you to meet and interact with other students with whom you may not otherwise meet. Students who participate in the entire activity will be offered prizes.
