Mix It Up Day:  PJHS is celebrating our first "Mix-It Up Day" Today during lunch.  We will be hosting a fun Mix It Up Day lunch activity that encourages you to meet and interact with other students with whom you may not otherwise meet. Students who participate in the entire activity will be offered prizes.

Library:  The Library has 9 books that have disappeared during October.  If you can find any of these books or any library book that you find lying around, return them to the library for a reward!  The missing books include both of our copies of Maze Runner, Eve, Sorceress, Big Nate-here goes nothing and many more.  Thank you.

Science Club:  There will be NO Science club meeting today so that students can participate in the Mix It Up!

Basketball & Volleyball Tryouts:  Boys basketball and girls volleyball tryouts begin next week.  You must have your online registration completed and a doctor's clearance turned into the main office before you tryout.  See the PJHS Athletics Website or Mr. Dee for more information.

Basketball Camps:  Would you like to learn how to play basketball? Do you already know how, but want to brush up on your skills?  We have basketball camps coming up for fall and winter.  If you are interested in attending one of these camps there are flyers available in the office.

Halloween:  Halloween is on Saturday! On Friday, at lunch, leadership will be hosting the traditional Halloween costume contest.  Also, on Friday from 4-6, we will be enjoying our FIRST FREIGHT FEST!! All PJHS students are welcome to attend.

Halloween costumes must be dress code appropriate.  This means: nothing to do with any type of weapon.  No masks worn during class time—but may be worn during contest.  No super gory make up.  No spaghetti straps or strapless tops dresses.  No visible underwear.  Leggings may not be worn as pants unless covered to inseam/finger rule.  No see through garments.

If you have any questions, please ask Ms. Emanuele, Ida or Amy.
