"A" Day

Lunch Menu:     The lunch menu for today and Tuesday is:

Bantam Buddies:  Calling all Bantam Buddies!  There will be a meeting today during lunch.

Library:  Do you know what fan fiction is? Fan fiction are stories involving popular fictional characters that are written by fans and often posted on the internet.  The Petaluma library is sponsoring a fan fiction contest.  Students can sign up online and can win fun prizes.  Winner's work will be displayed at an upcoming comics convention and added to the local author collection at the public library. For more information please see Ms. Andresen.  

Games:   We have games tomorrow!  There will be a boys basketball home vs Kenilworth, 7th grade 4pm, 8th grade 5pm.  Volleyball @ Kenilworth 7th grade 4pm, 8th grade 5pm  

Attention 7th graders: Do you want to go back to your old elementary school to talk to 6th graders about your experience at Petaluma Jr. High School?  Ms. Horwitz and Ms.  Leigh are planning to visit our feeder schools towards the middle of January and need student volunteers to join them. If you are interested in going, fill out a form in the counseling office and you might get selected!    

Leadership: Leadership is doing their annual canned food drive, through Dec. 17. Parents and students can drop their cans at the front of the school, where a leadership student will happily take it and put it into the donation project. Remember the cans you bring in go directly to our PJHS families.

PJHS Fundraiser:  Come play table tennis in the month of December at North Bay Table Tennis Academy.  Part of the proceeds will go to Petaluma Junior High.  If you are interested or for more information go to www.northbaytta.com, call (707) 843-0768 or visit them at 4216 Petaluma Blvd. North, Petaluma.

Bus Passes:  December bus passes are here.  Come and see Mrs. Leach at lunch to buy one.
